Happy Fourth!

Our Fourth of July began with a man overboard! Or, rather, a teddy bear in the toilet. A certain little dude has become fascinated with the toilet, and although we usually keep the bathroom door closed, when he realized it was open, he made a beeline.

So, part of our holiday was spent installing a handy little toilet lock to prevent any more stuffed animal casualties!

The three of us thoroughly enjoyed having a family day together. We played at the splash pad, took a trip to a pet store for some air conditioned entertainment (where the toy aisle was a big hit), and our boy even got to sample daddy's sno cone.

Our little guy was so tired at the end of the day that he slept through the city's fireworks display happening right across the street.
